It is the truth that connectors are wildly used by the people around the world. Without the connectors the great discover of electricity will do little to our human beings. Nowadays, another new type of connectors named waterproof connectors are becoming more and more popular.
waterproof connector, which is a small form-factor connector designed as a jack and looks similar to an RJ-45 telephone connector, is normally used in communication systems within buildings. As such, it is often confused with an actual telephone connector due to this similar look. The latch adapter can be attached to the Waterproof Connector but is not mandatory for use and can be left out as the Waterproof Connector easily attaches and detaches from the components' connecting panel. Being smaller in size as compared to other types of connectors, it uses up less space and affords more port density. The pinned version, also known as the male connector, has two small guide pins at its end. Normally made of stainless steel, these pins are parallel to the two optic fibers protected within the ferrule inside the cable. The no-pinned version which has two holes is known as the female connector. As nature intended, the mating of the male and female ends then connects the communication loop between cable, panel and patch cord.
